A classic masculine, spicy-woody fragrance with plenty of cardamom and pepper, which feels very present, elegant, and clearly "dressed up" on me from the start. Due to its dense, spicy structure and good longevity, I see it primarily in the office, at dinners, and more formal evenings – a strong, stylish men's fragrance.
An elegantly constructed, smoky-floral fragrance with a green-spicy opening and hints of jasmine and tea, which, however, feels very reserved, distant, and uninviting on me. Despite its noticeable quality and complex chypre structure, it resonates with me personally much less than other fragrances from the house.
A fruity-fresh fragrance with plenty of pineapple and bright berry fruitiness, which comes across as loud, radiant, and extremely pleasing from the start, and is later captured by a soft, slightly woody-musky base. For me, it's the "better Aventus": more modern, sweeter, and easier to wear, ideal for warm days and leisure when you just want to smell good and make a positive impression.
For me, Contemporary is a modern, very present signature fragrance in which a juicy blackberry sits on a green, slightly floral base, supported by dry cedarwood. It appears clear, elegant, and surprisingly loud for Clive Christian, making it perfect for days and evenings when you want to stand out with a fresh yet mature presence.
A warm, sweet-spicy amber fragrance that feels like a creamy, golden veil on the skin and is very elegant without being intrusive. For me, it is clearly a scent for evenings and special occasions in the colder months, when you want to wear something soft, sensual, and high-quality.
A fresh, slightly citrusy opening that quickly transitions into a spicy, woody signature with smoky accents and a noticeable leather facet. Overall more edgy and striking than pleasing, with good presence but less versatile for everyday use.
A bright, soft-fresh fragrance with a clear, citrusy floral note in the opening and a calm tea accord in the background, sitting clean and understated on the skin. It feels unobtrusive, polished, and harmonious, making it particularly suitable for everyday wear, the office, and warm days when you want to make a subtle yet present impression.
A spicy-floral fragrance with dark blackcurrant freshness in the opening, transitioning into a soft blend of rose and jasmine with a slight woody depth. Elegant, with a subtle oriental touch, and versatile enough for everyday wear and quiet evenings without feeling too heavy.
A modern, soft-sweet fragrance with a clear pear presence, a creamy, clean profile, and a restrained radiance. Elegant and polished, yet subtle enough for everyday wear without losing its presence.
A modern, fruity-woody fragrance with a juicy mango opening, spicy freshness, and a warm leather-oud base that gives it structure and depth. It feels modern and fresh, showing its strengths particularly on warm summer days.
Town and Country by Clive Christian is an aromatic woody fragrance for men with a fresh citrus and juniper opening that transitions into warm, slightly smoky wood and resin notes. Elegant, confident, and more suitable for formal occasions than for everyday wear.
Hacivat presents itself as a men's fragrance with a fresh orientation and a present radiance that is immediately noticeable. The grapefruit gives Hacivat a clear presence, making the fragrance appear sportier and more striking. However, it does not come across as quite as elegant as Suits by The Nose Behind.
Piccadilly Hero is a fragrance with a clear cherry opening, whose smoky accent is reminiscent of Xerjoff's Don, but overall appears lighter, more urban, and less smoky-dark than Don. The fragrance can be clearly distinguished from Hedonistic by Clive Christian. Hedonistic remains amber-warm and opulent, while Piccadilly Hero maintains a cool, fashionable aura and is well-suited for everyday to evening city looks.
For me, London is a modern leather fragrance clearly characterized by a sweet-fruity raspberry note, which overall seems very harmonious and executed with high quality.
For me, Yasat is a soft, slightly gourmand fragrance in which a creamy vanilla-caramel note is clearly at the forefront and is brightened by a fresh cardamom and bergamot facet. Overall, the composition feels rounded, modern, and pleasantly accessible without slipping into sticky sweetness or excessive heaviness.
Secret Tryst by Fragrance Du Bois is a warm-spicy amber fragrance with a harmonious, pleasant-to-wear composition, which, in my impression, remains too smooth and unspectacular and thus doesn't really stand out.
No. 1 by Clive Christian is, for me, a classically styled men's fragrance with a soapy-floral, creamy character on a noble sandalwood base, brightened by citrusy and spicy nuances. The much-cited complexity of the fragrance is perceived less in clearly separable individual accords, but rather as a harmonious, elegantly balanced overall impression. I personally appreciate this type of craftsmanship very much, even if it does not seem absolutely necessary in every case for the practical application of such a men's fragrance from my perspective. Given the price level, which is no longer comprehensible to me, I cannot exceed an overall rating of 3/5 despite high recognition for the quality and composition.
For me, Jump up and Kiss Me Hedonistic is a very high-quality evening fragrance in which a darker black cherry note is clearly perceptible without appearing clumsy or over-sweetened. A restrained leather note gives the fragrance additional depth and structure, resulting in an overall calm, elegant image of cherry and leather accords.
