Starts off promisingly and dies down very quickly depending on the weather conditions
Town & Country starts off promisingly, briefly showing its elegant, fresh, and well-groomed side. Unfortunately, this impression does not last long. After a brief surge in the fragrance development, it loses its presence very quickly on both my skin and my wife's. Interestingly, the scent performed almost identically on both of us. No gender difference could be detected. After just a short time, Town & Country became a skin scent and then almost completely disappeared from perception. Result: A beautiful opening, but clearly too little longevity for this price range. The fragrance quality is there, but the performance failed to convince us. However, today is different and suddenly it lasts almost the whole day with a truly beautiful continuity. This could become a bottle purchase, despite the price. No 1 by Clive Christian is too soapy for me.
