A high-quality artisanal fragrance that leaves me feeling conflicted, however. Directly on the skin, the opening with yuzu and ginger is very authentic, fresh, and zesty. In the sillage, however, a disturbing, almost synthetic veil develops for me, which I associate with a 'squeaky' cherry, likely the interplay of cherry blossom and lychee. CIO CIO SAN definitely smells of quality, but this specific, artificial-seeming fruit freshness is simply not my thing.
