Those who are inclined towards the concentrated power of the salty sea get more than they could hope for with Megamare by Orto Parisi. The fragrance opens with a tart, slightly algae-like and at the same time spicy-salty intensity. The atmosphere feels almost oppressive, as if the spray of the North Sea were whipping directly into your face during an approaching summer storm. You can literally feel how the air is saturated with the salty aroma of the sea, while a subtle warmth and softness resonate at the same time. The fragrance behaves very linearly and hardly loses any power throughout its entire course. Only in the later drydown do light, almost only hinted at, citrus nuances appear on my skin. Sillage and longevity are just as uncompromising. The latter would almost have to be specified in days. Even after a thorough shower, the scent is still clearly perceptible on the skin. On clothing, especially on natural fabrics, it easily lasts for several!!!! days. Overall, Megamare is an absolute sea monster. Anyone who loves the smell of a summery North Sea storm with subtle citrus accents will hardly be able to forget this fragrance.
