What the layperson knows as absinthe is the green fairy, this alcoholic wormwood with fennel and/or anise. The connoisseur knows the scent of wormwood without anise and fennel. This comes from the plant with the botanical name Artemisia Absinthium. This plant is surrounding the bottle in the photo; those branched leaves. If you rub a leaf between your fingers and smell it, you have Nasomatto's Absinth in its purest form. In addition, there are earthy and warm woody notes. When I lie in my deck chair, a hint of this herb wafts toward me. For me, it is in the same category as Nudiflorum. Exciting fragrances, not for every occasion and every nose. After nearly an hour, it immediately smells on the skin like Assenzio by L'Erbolario. It becomes slightly sweet.

Strong perfume. I think it gives you a headache quickly. Unfortunately, it doesn't remind me of absinthe at all, but rather of an old people's perfume.

The foreground is dominated by strong earthy and slightly woody notes with a subtle sweetness – really just a hint. The fragrance develops into a spicy-green scent but always maintains its earthy base. In my opinion, the name is only a vague fit, as I hardly perceive any alcoholic note, at most very far in the distance. Nevertheless, it is a very beautiful, earthy fragrance with a high niche factor. Testing it beforehand is a must, however.
