Apparently, I am anosmic to a few molecules here. My unworthy nose smells little of the woodiness, but rather the floating synthetics of simpler molecular scents, then some deodorant or aftershave and maybe cedar. And unfortunately, a sweaty sting including a salt illusion way back above the tongue. However, it was striking that several people commented on my scent unprompted throughout the day as they came a bit closer to me. None of them found a sweaty note, but rather: 'freshly washed', 'woody', 'somewhat masculine but good', 'hard to describe, show me again'. After ten hours, I could finally sense the softer wood profile and would have liked more of it. Not a chance, the perception immediately eludes me again. After about eighteen hours, there is still a trace left, now powdery and creamy like an expensive new lipstick. It is worth a test.
